This is a booking site for the insertion/exchange or removal of contraceptive implants and the insertion or exchange of hormonal and copper coils . This is a free NHS Lothian service provided by Barclay Medical Practice, based in our Edinburgh and Livingston branches. We currently operate on Saturday mornings and some mid week clinics throughout the branch’s.
This service is only available to NHS patients registered with a GP practice in NHS Lothian.
THIS SERVICE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO PATIENTS AGED 16 AND OVER IF YOU ARE UNDER 16, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR OWN GP.
WE ARE NOT A COIL REMOVAL SERVICE IF YOU REQUIRE YOUR COIL TO BE REMOVED, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR OWN GP.
